Kanata Basement Renovation

<-- Go Back

We had to fix the wall next to the stairs and move the light switches.

There, the wall is nice and straight and the switches are in a good position.

Narrow basement stairs prevented us from getting a full sheet of drywall down the stairs.

The finished product does not reveal the small sheets of drywall or how many joints there were!

The air ducts were boxed in and covered in drywall.

Nice straight lines and tight corners!

There's that troublesome wall again, but we beat it!

Each switch controls a different part of the basement.

We did each area of the oak laminate flooring separately to ensure nice tight seams and expansion areas.

A locked utility area of the basement to make sure the children don't mess with tools or the furnace.
