An old-style cedar fence with a hidden gate, that matches an existing 10 year old fence in the rear of the house.

A good neighbour fence with a little more privacy up near the deck. Customized deck railing is lower and offers more visibility than the old one.

This fence was made with 6" X 6" posts cemented in below the frost line, with tongue and groove boards for complete privacy. Not cheap but well worth the extra costs.

The Goal: replace the deck railing with a cedar fence for increased privacy and sound reduction that blends well with the Arts and Crafts appeal of the early 20th Century home.
